I am taking Art / Drawing classes this fall, which is a good way to get an edge in the picture?
Should I buy a sketchbook? the special pencils or supplies? I am a graphic designer for all the material they do it on a computer. I'm really a comptuer geek. apart from knowing how use a lot of purchased software and opensource, I can also repair them, etc. but I really want to call .. I want to improve in drawing to improve my skills. I want to take some basic art classes .. thence character deisgn. So in future I can do 3-D modeling and animation. So what do I get a good start for my art / drawing classes? What supplies do I need and what should I do? Uh ... When I said I like competition or sports? Only I begin to practice drawing now, so you can advance my skills later, so that when I enter the class can really excel in my skills as an artist ..
You must start with a basic drawing class life where you can learn to draw anatomy and landscapes using all kinds of utensils - charcoal, pencil, pens, etc.. They'll teach about sgraffito, lighting and shading, too. It also helps you get your hands loose and relaxed for drawing. When you begin to register for classes, the instructor will give you a syllabus which will supply every detail of the pencils with the type of pills to use for your class, not to spend money yet! Grab it! Art supplies can be very costly. But if you seriously want to start now and in the practice and fool around until then, go and buy a few design pencil drawing, etc (Hb) And a media platform development and monitoring Strathmore pad.
