Before starting on your sketch, understand that it is important to know and master your tools. If you do not know well enough their tools, their design does not becomes the way you want it. I guarantee it.
First, let's start by choosing some drawing paper to your drawing. A visit to the art shop will tell you that there is a wide range of art paper available. Some are of drawing paper that multi-purpose pen can be used, charcoal, watercolor or painting. These are more likely to be more expensive.
However, if you're only going to do some practice sketches, all you need have is a drawing pad, soft. There has to be higher quality but has to be soft on the surface so that it is easier for you to mix. Also I noticed the soft drawing paper that different degrees. Once you have your drawing paper, you need to equip yourself with some pencils. I personally prefer working with 2B pencils 8B. These pencils give me a wide range of values and allows me to create almost any effect you want.
You also need some kneaded erasers. Kneaded erasers are free of dust and behave like plasticine. You can pinch them in any way you want and use to loosen or create dark areas highlighted in your drawing.
You also can get a straight ruler and a circle template (for the development and return), although this is not mandatory.
Once you have all this ready, you're ready to start drawing.
First, decide on the item you wish to call. This has been discussed in detail in MyArtPassion.com Home Study Course, so do not go into details here. Do not choose something that likes to draw. In the home study course you will learn how to choose the items to make your design more interesting and exciting.
Once you have decided on your topic of reference, do some warm up their pencils before you begin. Create some shades, blends, etc. Drawing on paper until you feel ready.
