i would like to introduce you to a band (well….more like a duo) that you have probably never heard of. sarah, my wife, introduced me to to them a couple of years ago (i actually used one of their songs when i asked her to marry me) and we have just gotten back from seeing them at The Evening Muse here in Charlotte. these two guys grew up in Montana and a lot of their songs stem from experiences or observations in that state. they’re very Simon & Garfunkelish with amazing harmonies and dueling guitars. it was breathtaking to see the rate at which they finger-picked their guitars. it made me want to give up any effort of wanting to be a guitar player, just knowing that i will never be able to play like that.
